    Systematic Review Class in Philadelphia!

    November 9, 2018

Easy Steps to Building a Team-Based Systematic Review Service-A new model

If you are interested in implementing a team-based systematic review service at your library but don't know where to begin, this course is for you.

This course is for all libraries looking to expand their systematic review services or enhance them. It will support librarians who have to educate, guide, and support researchers throughout all stages of the process. By the end, you will be able to:

    • Ask guiding questions using an intake form for systematic review.
    • Remix all course materials to provide in-house systematic review training

This interactive course will consist of hands-on learning activities, give you the tools to be successful, and perhaps the confidence needed to lead a systematic review team! Earn 2 MLA CE credits and meet with your local library colleagues during this engaging class. Lunch and CE credits included with cost.

As featured in the Journal of the Medical Library Association October 2018 issue! Transforming the systematic review service: a team-based model to support the educational needs of researchers, is a commentary describing the topic of this class.

Stephanie Roth, AHIP, is the biomedical and research services librarian at the Ginsburg Library, Temple University. She supports systematic reviews and literature searches on a variety of topics. In previous roles, she worked as a clinical researcher, an educator and a coach, and now serves as the team lead for the systematic review service.

Natalie Tagge currently serves as Head Librarian, Temple University Podiatry Library. She previously served as Education Services Librarian at Temple University Ginsburg Health Sciences Library. Tagge has a Master's Degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois and is currently completing a Master in Public Health at Temple University. She previously worked at The Claremont Colleges Library and University of Illinois Springfield.
