A joint event with the Philadelphia Regional Chapter of the Medical Libraries Association and the Special Libraries Association- Philadelphia Chapter: November 12, 5.30 - 7.30 PM

Data is more prolific and more available than ever, and its presentation can be complex and alienating to the public and information professionals alike. With visual clarity, good design, and an increasing number of accessible tools, data can be used to engage stakeholders and customers, and to clarify and simplify research, commercial, and public information.

During this panel presentation by local experts from education, commerce, and government, participants will find out more about engaging and innovative data visualization projects in the Philadelphia area, the tools and strategies used by enterprises of different scales to procure, process, and promote visualized data, and generate ideas on how data visualization tools can be put to work within their own organizations.
